    Hi,

I am a Jazz trained dancer and am looking into starting ballroom dancing. I would like to obviously start from basics but with the opportunity to eventually compete. Is this something that can be done through your dance school?

    Thanking you in advance,
    Raquel Santos

    • Hi Raquel,

We have a good range of classes at the studio and there is no restriction on which class you must attend, so with your previous dance experience you will probably move up through the classes quite quickly.
All of the classes are loads of fun and give you the opportunity to dance with different partners throughout the class which is often the best way to get started and gain experience with both the ballroom and latin styles.

We have a large number of competitive couples in the studio and a good balance of guys & girls in the classes so finding a partner is often best done through the classes with a little help from your instructors.

Looking forward to meeting you in the studio soon.
      Cheers

  • Hi Everyone,
    Great news!
I an effort to keep the prices at a level that everyone can afford there has only been slight increase and for the month of May the adult 10 class dance cards will remain at the 2011 price at only $165 that’s just $16.50 per class
Get in quick this offer only lasts for the month of May.
I Hope you all had a wonderful Easter and are looking forward to getting back to the studio & moving & grooving again

  • Melanie:

    Hi Ian,

My partner and I are looking to take dance lessons. If we attended group classes, would we need to dance with other partners or could we just partner up together? It would be our preference to only dance with eachother, but would we need to take private lessons to do this?
Could you please quote how much it would be for 3 x 1 hour private lessons?

    Thanks,
    Melanie

    • Hi Melanie,
We do change partners in our group class but it is not compulsory and if you wish to stay together that’s fine.
Private lessons are always an option and can be arranged whenever you feel like more personal approach, a 1hr private lesson is $100
      Cheers
