We have a strong tie to the community and have the privilege of working with and fundraising for some very special organisations.
Sunnyfield Independence
Sunnyfield provide services that give choice, opportunities and independence to people to people with disabilities. They offer housing, employment opportunities, recreation and respite care and the people who run the organisation are a very special breed.
Logan Dance and Sunnyfield started a series of dance classes in 2009 for students with disability which was a great experience for all involved.
Sydney Children’s Hospital Fundraising
One of the mum’s from the studio, Joanne Izenberg, is organising a fundraising calendar for The Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation – with a twist. All of the images in the calendar are being drawn by a very special 13 year old boy – her son Tal.
Tal has an Autistic Spectrum Disorder and is a talented artist and comic creator. The aim of the calendar is to show that kids with disabilities have abilities!!
Joanne is looking for business sponsors to help with the cost of producing the calendars and this is where you can help!
